Avoca Lake is a great picnic and recreational area. Fishing and angling opportunities abound along the shoreline.
Avoca Beach Village offers a variety of cafes, take away food and eat in restaurant options including Asian, Italian and Seafood.

Beachside Markets are held on the 4th Sunday of each month with Twilight Markets at Christmas.
